We want to make your departure from Esbjerg Airport as easy and pleasant as possible. Here’s a short guide to help you check in and get your journey off to a smooth start.
Arrival at the airport
We recommend that you arrive at the airport well in advance of your departure. When booking your trip with your airline, you can see how early you are allowed to check in.
Check-in counters
Check-in takes place at our counters in the departures hall. Our staff will assist you with registering your journey, weighing, and tagging your baggage. Always bring a valid passport or photo ID along with your ticket or booking confirmation.
Baggage drop-off
After check-in, drop off your baggage at the baggage belt, where it will be sent directly to the aircraft. Please remember to follow the baggage rules for size, weight, and contents.
Security control
Once check-in and baggage drop-off are complete, proceed to the security control. Make sure you are familiar with the rules for liquids, electronics, and prohibited items.
Straight to the departure hall
After passing through security, you can continue to the departure hall, where boarding will take place as shown on your boarding pass and on the information screens in the terminal.
Whether you are a frequent traveller or visiting for the first time, our staff are ready to help you every step of the way – ensuring your journey starts safely and smoothly.
