Here are some tips for getting through security quickly and easily.<\/p>\n<p><strong>At security, please note the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boarding passes are scanned automatically, granting access to security control. So have your boarding pass ready. Put your boarding pass in your bag after the boarding pass check.<\/li>\n<li>You must remove your outer clothing and place it in a gray tray. If you have keys, a wallet, coins, a cell phone, or other loose items (including non-metallic items) in your pockets, these items must be placed in the same tray as your outer clothing and screened in an X-ray machine.<\/li>\n<li>Electronic equipment such as laptops, iPads\/tablets, cameras, and liquids must be removed from your bag and placed in a tray. Several items may be placed in the same tray next to each other, but they must not be placed on top of each other. If there is room in the tray, the bag may be placed there if the electronics or liquids are not covered.<\/li>\n<li>You will be asked to walk through a metal detector. This will reveal whether you have any metal objects on your body or in your pockets.<\/li>\n<li>When metal objects are detected, the metal detector emits an acoustic alarm. If you have not placed all metal objects in the tray, you will be asked to go out and empty any forgotten items into a tray, which will then be sent separately through the X-ray machine for screening. You will then go through the metal detector again to determine whether this was the cause of the alarm.<\/li>\n<li>Even if you are NOT carrying any metal, the metal detector may select you for a random check.<\/li>\n<li>If the metal alarm continues or if you are selected for a random check, the security staff will refer you to the security scanner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Screening in security scanner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is done as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A security officer will ask you to walk through the scanner.<\/li>\n<li>If the scanner sounds an alarm, a targeted, manual body search will be carried out.<\/li>\n<li>If the security scanner does not sound an alarm, you can continue your journey without further inspection.<\/li>\n<li>If the scanner sets off an alarm and there are circumstances that make a targeted personal search difficult, it may be necessary to conduct a manual personal search of the entire person.
