We offer the following cargo handling options:<\/p>\n

Speed loader:<\/strong> Can handle up to 3.5 tons and can be used by several types of aircraft.
Main deck loader:<\/strong> Can handle up to 20 tons of cargo.
Push back tractor:<\/strong> Can push up to 400 tons. This means that large cargo planes do not need to turn around at the airport.
Forklift trucks:<\/strong> Can lift 3 and 10 tons of cargo respectively.<\/p>\n

Our location close to the motorway and, not least, Esbjerg Port makes Esbjerg Airport an obvious partner in the oil, gas, and wind industries for the transport of goods and cargo from both trucks and ships. There are strict requirements for the transport of dangerous goods. Documentation of the contents of the goods must be issued by the freight forwarder or carrier upon delivery to the airport.<\/p>\n

When dangerous goods are delivered, Esbjerg Airport only checks that the accompanying documents and packaging of the goods comply with the rules in force at any given time.<\/p>\n

accompanied by a correctly issued AWB – with information about weight, contents, and any other relevant information
correctly labeled – all individual packages are labeled
properly packaged and does not pose a danger to other passengers, personnel, equipment, or the aircraft used for transport<\/p>\n

Dangerous goods must be packaged in accordance with the special rules for the transport of dangerous goods (IATA).<\/p>\n
